1. Who we are
These Terms of Service govern your use of Snipio.io, a web application for turning long recordings into short clips, adding captions and brand assets, exporting videos and publishing to connected social accounts. “We”, “us” and “our” refer to the service operated under the name Snipio.io.
The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.
2. Your account & access
You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract to create an account. If you act for an organisation, you must have authority to bind it. Provide accurate account details, protect your credentials and notify us if you suspect unauthorised access.
The service requires an internet connection and a current browser with JavaScript and essential cookies enabled. You can read these documents without signing in. Account access continues until you or we end it under these terms.
3. Creating with Snipio
Upload a recording or provide a supported source URL, select processing options and review the resulting clips. Available tools include transcription, AI-assisted moment selection, trimming, captions, brand templates and video export. Features may depend on source quality, supported formats, processing capacity and third-party availability.
AI output can contain errors or omit context. Review transcripts, timing, captions, rights and disclosures before sharing. Suggestions and scores do not guarantee audience growth, accuracy or platform acceptance.
4. Your content & permissions
You retain your rights in uploaded recordings, logos, fonts, prompts and other materials. You grant us a non-exclusive permission to store, copy, transcribe, analyse, transform and transmit those materials only as needed to provide the functions you request, including delivery to processing providers and connected platforms.
You must hold the necessary rights and permissions for source videos, music, people’s likenesses and personal information. A publicly accessible video or URL does not itself grant reuse rights. These terms do not grant us permission to use your content in our marketing.
5. Responsible use
Do not upload or publish unlawful material, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, impersonate others, distribute malware, exploit children, or use the service for harassment, fraud or deceptive manipulation. Do not bypass authentication, access another user’s data, evade usage limits or interfere with the service.
You are responsible for necessary advertising, sponsorship and AI-generated-content disclosures. To report allegedly unlawful content, contact the operator with the relevant project or publication, your reasons and contact details.
6. TikTok & connected platforms
Connecting TikTok is optional. Authorisation lets Snipio access your basic profile and publish videos you select. You control the account, caption, available privacy settings, interaction settings and publication time. Scheduling authorises us to submit that post at the selected time; processing and availability remain subject to TikTok.
You can disconnect an account in Scheduler or revoke access in TikTok’s app permissions. Disconnecting cancels queued posts for that account, but a post already being processed may complete. Deleting a project or disconnecting does not delete a video already published on TikTok; manage it there.
Use of TikTok is also subject to TikTok’s terms and policies. Snipio is an independent service, not endorsed by TikTok. Platform approval, API access and publication reach are not guaranteed.
7. Credits, pricing & payments
Snipio uses prepaid credits rather than a recurring subscription. Current packages and pricing are displayed on the pricing page and at checkout. Processing is charged by each started minute of source video, once per project; reviewing and exporting clips are included. Unused credits do not expire under the current offer and have no cash value except where a refund is due.
Stripe processes checkout. Review the total price, currency and applicable taxes before paying. Future pricing changes apply to future purchases and do not retrospectively reduce purchased credits. Free credits and promotions are subject to their displayed conditions.
8. Cancellation, refunds & complaints
Mandatory consumer rights remain intact, including rights relating to a digital service that is not supplied or does not conform to the contract. Where EU/EEA withdrawal rules apply, you normally have 14 days from concluding a distance contract to withdraw without giving a reason. Merely accepting these terms or buying credits does not waive that right.
To withdraw or make a complaint, contact [email protected] with your account email, order date or reference and requested remedy. A clear statement that you wish to withdraw is sufficient; no specific wording is required.
Where withdrawal applies, reimbursement is made within the applicable statutory deadline, normally 14 days after notice, using the original payment method unless agreed otherwise. Charges for service already supplied require the conditions set by law, including any required express request. We respond to complaints within applicable legal deadlines. Nothing here excludes access to a court or available consumer dispute-resolution body.
9. Ending use & account closure
You may stop using Snipio at any time. Download files you want to keep, cancel pending posts and disconnect social accounts before contacting [email protected] to request account closure. Deleting individual projects is available in the studio; full account deletion is handled through a request to the operator.
We may restrict or end access where reasonably necessary to address a material breach, security risk or legal obligation. Where lawful and practicable, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue. Any rights to refunds and retrieval of content required by law remain unaffected.
10. Availability & responsibility
We aim to provide a functioning service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted processing, error-free AI output or continuous access to external platforms. Keep a copy of original recordings. We remain responsible to the extent required by applicable law, including mandatory digital-service conformity obligations.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, limits mandatory consumer remedies, or removes protections you have in your country of residence. We do not impose mandatory arbitration or a waiver of collective remedies.
11. Changes & applicable law
The version date identifies this document. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect where required, with notice appropriate to their impact. Changes will not retroactively alter completed purchases. If a change requires renewed agreement, we will request it.
Applicable law and competent courts are determined by the rules that apply to the parties and the service. These terms do not deprive consumers of mandatory protections or the right to bring a claim in a legally competent court.
12. Get in touch
For service questions, complaints, rights reports or account closure, contact [email protected]. Include enough information to locate your account or order. Never send your password, complete card details or social-platform access tokens.
